Jupiter, in Latin Juppiter or Iuppiter, is the Roman god who governs the earth and the sky, as well as all living beings found there. He is also the master of the other gods and is originally a god of heaven, a characteristic found in his association with the heavenly omens, linked to the divinatory practices of the priests of Rome. He is assimilated to Zeus among the Greeks.
At POK®, Jupiter is our “newest product”. A new generation robot which bears its name well, since it will fight the high flames which go towards the sky. It is like the god who bears his name, a powerful and “combative” tool.
Mounted on tracks, this robot is equipped with a DN65 type motorised aluminium alloy monitor lance and a 2,000 litre per minute diffuser. This package offers unrivalled possibilities.
This ultra-compact robot can be used in very confined spaces. Its low centre of gravity provides better grip on all types of surfaces. To have a greater mass an addition of weight in a box provided for this purpose can be carried out. Overcoming obstacles and stairs up to 45° is very easy.
The Jupiter owes its exceptional manoeuvrability to its progressive speed control. It is easy to use thanks to a single control panel: only one person can control the motorized monitor and the robot at the same time. In addition, it can tow 60 metres of DN80 pipes in water.
It can be used in reverse and swivel on itself. Equipped with a high resolution LED camera, it is therefore also operational in the dark, at night. This camera has a range of 10 meters in total darkness, which is exceptional.
The system is fully submersible. The digital video transmission of the Jupiter offers perfect image stability thanks to aluminium led spots.
This robot is a perfect response to the needs of modern fire brigades and many industries that need to meet increasingly demanding fire fighting criteria. Petrochemical industries, oil and gas storage sites, waste recycling plants, airports, naval bases, defense, are all users of the Jupiter robot.
