  • Manually adjustable stabilizing feet to keep the user on the ground and safe.
  • Drawbar with adjustable and standard drawbar eye,
  • Standard storage box,
  • Traffic lights,
  • Jockey wheel with retractable collar.

This trailer, whose axle can support a load of 2,500 kg, is equipped with a Dicodoplus monitor. This DN150 motorized monitor is made of aluminium alloy. The monitor is connected to four DN150 couplings with butterfly valves to which 4 manifolds valves with 3 DN65 inlets each can be connected, for a total of 12 DN65 inlets. Martigues, FRANCE

In two days, the PETROCHYMIA exhibition will open in Martigues (13) France. This exhibition will bring together professionals from the chemical, petrochemical and gas industries around development and productivity. This event is an opportunity for them to exchange ideas in order to find innovative solutions to their problems, particularly in terms of security. An excellent opportunity for POK® to introduce many innovative products and solutions.

During two days, all PETROCHYMIA visitors will meet. POK is eager to get in touch with professionals from the petrochemical, chemical, refinery and offshore oil & gas industries. All are looking for innovative solutions to meet the growth in their respective sectors of activity.

It is therefore essential for POK, as a French manufacturer of firefighting equipment, to exhibit its very wide range of products and actively participate in the creation of a sustainable safety offer.

We therefore look forward to welcome you on September 19th and 20th, 2018 on the POK booth to meet our sales representative François Hery who will welcome you and present the POK offer. And in case you cannot attend this show, you will find on the events page, all the dates of upcoming shows where you can meet POK or one of our distributors.

Event

From October 22nd to 27th, 2018, the 27th WC Firefighter Combat Challenge will be held in Sacramento, CA, USA. Discover this epic contest, sponsored by POK®, where many Fire Brigades are competing against each other.

The first edition of this competition was held in May 1991 and it involved 5 fire departments from the United States. 27 years later, teams from across the world came together in great numbers. This real physical challenge is a tremendous opportunity for firefighters from countries like New Zealand, Germany, Argentina and even France to compete in events that reflect the extreme working conditions of fire soldiers.

Nowadays this competition consists of 5 tasks which are climbing a tower of 5 floors, lifting, chopping, dragging pipes and rescuing a victim of 80 kg. The purpose of these tests is to encourage the good physical condition of the Firefighters.

This competition is perfectly in line with POK’s values. This is the main reason why POK is a partner of the event. Our product development department has developed the Victory Hand nozzle for this event. An innovation that combines robustness, precision, light weight and easy handling. During competitions, this POK product saves many seconds.

This year again, POK invites you to follow this competition, which we support. We will keep you informed of the results of this competition.

If you want to know more about this competition, you can visit the Firefighter Combat Challenge website or watch one of the many presentation videos.

And if you are also organising an event related to POK values, do not hesitate to contact our corporate communication department at the following address: nathalie.sejourne [at] pok-fire.com. Together with you, we will study the possibilities of sponsorship.

The fire robot

POK®, in constant search for innovation, has designed a new generation of monitor: the Jupiter®. Designed to fight fire as close as possible, this remote-controlled system allows fire brigades to operate in complete safety.

Ideal for use in tunnel fires, outdoor fires (refineries, sensitive production sites, ports and airports), the Jupiter can also be used to fight fires in confined environments (nuclear sites, buildings).

This latest generation robot, extremely user-friendly, is operational in all environments. Equipped with two brushless electric motors (zero maintenance, exceptional lifetime), a high-resolution video control screen and a state-of-the-art control system, the Jupiter is the most powerful ultra-compact robot on the market.

POK is the first and only manufacturer to master the design and production of such a system (the robot, the motorized monitor and its control device).

This is a new generation of fire-fighting robots, already adopted by many fire brigades and industries.

It was presented to the public at the end of 2017, at China Fire 2017. More recently, last July, the Jupiter was presented twice, to delegations of Iranian oil companies, at GESIP located in Saint Marcel (27). This latest innovation from POK demonstrated great efficiency by quickly extinguishing an ethanol fire (polar-type fire). You can discover the video of this presentation, and many others on POK’s YouTube channel.

In addition, in order to present all the technical characteristics of this robot, a new flyer has just been published. You can find it in our Download section under the name JUPITER.

If you need more information or a quotation, you can contact your distributor or your POK contact. All our collaborators are at your disposal to answer all your requests.
