20 POK SAS - 18 Cours Antoine Lavoisier - 10400 Nogent-sur-Seine - FRANCE Phone: +33 (0)3 37 49 53 - 000 - Email: export@pok-fire.com - Web: www.pok-fire.com Dual pressure hand nozzles TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS • The flow rate is adjusted by operating the shutoff handle which allows to go from the closed position, to the fully opened maximum flowrate position, going through four intermediate flow rates corresponding to 20% of the maximum flow rate for the first setting, 40% of the maximum flow rate for the second, 60% of the maximum flow rate for the third and 80% of maximum flow rate for the fourth. • A selection ring allows the user to operate the nozzle at a pressure of 6 or 3 bar while keeping the same flow rate when the shutoff is fully opened. This ring also has a third position marked PURGE or FLUSH which allows the removal of particles which could interfere with the proper hydraulic operation of the hand nozzle. • Adjustable stream pattern : The rotation of the indexed head ring allows the user to progress from a straight spray to a narrow spray of 32° , called "Flash Over", to a full fog diffusion cone of 130° forming a water wall. Tactile and visual indicators allow the user to know the stream type in total darkness even while wearing firefighting gloves in compliance with the EN 649 norm. • Swivelling inlet coupling. • Maximum working pressure PN16 . • Shutoff with adjustable flow rate with extremely sturdy handle, piston, stainless steel screws and bolts. CONSTRUCTION • Construction in aluminium alloy AGS T5, new primary alloy, extremely light. • Resistant to mechanical shocks and chemical attacks thanks to 50μ hard anodisation . • Head shock protection by a polyurethane head sheath. This elastomer does not melt when heated, is an excellent insulator which allows the user to work under high heat conditions without getting burnt, and does not stick to fingers in low temperatures. • Very ergonomic, anti-slip (polyurethane) pistol grip. • Stainless steel axles and screws .
